SHARE – Shared Memory, Shared Future

SHARE – Shared Memory, Shared Future: Youth Engagement in Holocaust Remembrance in Central Europe is a European project dedicated to involving young people in the preservation and critical understanding of Holocaust memory.

At a time when the last direct witnesses of the Holocaust are disappearing and historical memory is increasingly politicised or distorted, the project brings together young people, educators, journalists, local communities and Jewish organisations. Through research, encounters, workshops and public events, it encourages them to become active guardians of remembrance and to respond to antisemitism, historical denial and hate speech.

The project is supported by the European Union’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme – CERV – and brings together partners from Central and South-Eastern Europe.
